Getting startet

Jun 1, 2010 at 8:01 AM

I'm very excited about this project and would like to take a closer look.

I have a few questions.

What are the differents branches and wich one of the branches is the "Official" branch?

Is the Zoo#Key.pfx files needed and if they are, can I provide a passwork of my own?

Can I include already scanned documents, like PDF documents?

Is the application fully localizable?

Best regards, Objecta

First, I am sorry it took us about 2.5 years to response :) I believe my response most likely not relevant now. Yet...

Some time ago as you see me and Lev have stopped to support this project, but for now we want to return for some revamping...

Answering your questions...

Different branches were different in data platform mainly. As for now, the official branch is: $/homedms/HomeDMS-Sqlbranch

Though after 14-dec it would be $/homedms/HomeDMS-Sqlbranch-VS2010 - recompiled under VS 2010 and having some incompatibility bugs fixed, yet not released officially.

Zoo#Key.pfx  is used for signing assemblies with strong name. We wouldn't want for someone to use their own signature certificate.

Yes you can add already scanned documents but one by one. We think about bulk import feature implementation.

Yes, application is fully localizable in any .NET supported language/culture.
